Therefore God exalted him to the highest place
and gave him the name that is above every name,
that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow,
in heaven and on earth and under the earth,
and every tongue acknowledge that Jesus Christ is Lord,
to the glory of God the Father.

Philippians 2:9-11

There was a time in my life when I was afraid to say the name of Jesus out loud. Even though I believed in him I felt awkward saying his name. I know. It’s strange. I believe it must have been because I had so often heard his name uttered in the wrong way by nonbelievers.

Eventually, I started feeling more comfortable and I sensed the beauty in it and grasped the fullness of its meaning. And I came to love saying his name.

“JESUS”
