THE LIVING ROOM MESSAGE – THE UNCONDITIONAL LOVE OF JESUS
By now, many of you will have heard about my poor health condition. But I want you to know, that though the news is not good:
IT ISN’T OVER TILL IT’S OVER.
. . . And I still have hope. Why shouldn’t I? As long as I have life, much can still be done. But I can’t do it all on my own. How could one voice spread a message out all over the world? We need more voices than the one living in Canada. We need voices distributed in every corner of the world.
Over the past year, Living Room seeds have been planted in most corners of the world. They only need to be watered so they can grow. Jesus once told his disciples: Matthew 9:37-38: “The harvest is plentiful, but the laborers are few; therefore pray earnestly to the Lord of the harvest to send out laborers into his harvest field” (ESV) Living Room needs people to bring in the Living Room harvest of groups that are being considered by those who have heard the message. There are many.
Would you like to be one of those laborers? Have you heard the call from Jesus to tell the world about his unconditional love for all the world’s people? Would you like to encourage those who have been inspired by the Living Room story and message?
I have learned that a person should never give up until all possibilities have been explored.
In 2015, I retired from my Living Room group. And now . . . looking back, I realized I should never have done it. I believe there was still more inside me with which I could have kept on. There was still more of Jesus and his love inside me to share. Perhaps I didn’t trust God enough at the time.
I can tell that it had been too early to quit, because I now see all the devotionals I kept writing, even after retiring. They were inspiring. Maybe the best I had written.
But I had given up on myself. I had given up on the God who was still working inside me—the God who was keeping me going. I feel God living inside me now too—urging me on, helping me move forward.
I currently have many tools available to help Living Room make its presence known in the world.
- 20 hard copies of One Such as Me will arrive around March 27th to distribute locally to those who would like to learn about spiritual mental health support and how to bring back Living Room. It’s an inspiring story—a good read.
- A PDF of One Such as Me is now available to download free of charge from https://marjabergen.com/books. (You could start reading at this very moment.) The story will be available all over the English-speaking world.
- I have made a long list of people to approach for help—locally and globally.
- Would you be interested in joining that list?
That’s what I’ve accomplished today, thanks be to God. Tomorrow we journey another step forward. Are you ready?
A dear friend wrote the following to me: “I believe that our days are held in hands much larger than any medical report. We serve a God who is the Author of Life, and until He says the story is finished, there is always room for a miracle, for a turning point, or for a season of peace that defies human logic. I am praying for that miracle, and I am praying for your breath to come easier and for your strength to be renewed.”
Let us all believe in such a God. The Living Room story is not finished yet.
I’d love to hear your response if you have one to share. Encouragement is always good to receive.
Many blessings to all.
