Open my eyes that I may see
wonderful things in your law.
Psalm 119:18

It is said that beauty is in the eyes of the beholder.

What kind of beholder are you? What kind of eyes do you have?

The kind that sees:

the most obvious?
the most colourful?
the most perfect?

Try looking beyond. Go deeper.

Follow your flower from birth to adulthood.
And then…?

Don’t throw it away just yet!
Spend time with it in its old age. There’s beauty, even there.

Seeing and admiring God’s world is a beginning.
The best will follow.

Now take your time and look into God’s heart.
His wonders will amaze you.

(By the way, these are amaryllis blossoms.)
